Lakos Construction, Inc. was founded shorty after Nick Tsapatsaris & Associates in 1993 to satisfy an unmet demand for a turnkey delivery method to occupants of commercial real estate.  Lakos only builds projects designed by Nick Tsapatsaris & Associates and most often for projects also owned by Nick Tsapatsaris and his partners.  Lakos is selective in the projects that are constructed and are often the outcome of a successful preliminary design with a client who recognizes the value of our knowledge, experience, quality, track record, and most importantly fast track delivery method.  This process has proven to deliver occupancy well in advance of the traditional design – bid – build process at a competitive cost. Being able to occupy space faster and collect rent earlier with little or no stress to Landlords and Tenants is the reason most clients are repeat customers.

Lakos is owned entirely by Nick Tsapatsaris and continues to successfully complete approximately projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $10M of adaptive reuse, office, and warehouse and retail projects.  Under Nick’s ownership projects as large as $48M have been successfully constructed.
